Fashionado Presents: Project Prom 2011

Project Prom was a great success -

Culminating in a spectacular fashion show at the W Midtown, a cocktail party and runway show to benefit Georgia's children in need. The For The Kid In All Of Us mission behind this event is to benefit our teenage segment by giving them an opportunity to experience prom - something that could so easily be taken for granted, but is a pivotal time for them and for their self-esteem. In Project Prom, slightly used dresses were donated, by Becca's Closet, and refashioned with the help of local designers, Vincent Martinez, Jason Bunin, English Design Lab, and Grady High School's Urban Couture Program. The dresses were modeled by the very students who redesigned them, along with very special guest model, Miss Georgia, Christina McCauley. All makeup for the models was provided by Authentic Beauty. All dresses featured in the fashion show will be given to teenage beneficiaries for their prom night.
